    Delhi/ Agra (210Kms, 4 Hrs drive)

    Visitors will be picked up from Delhi Airport or City Center hotel and depart for Agra. It is an ancient capital founded by Mughal emperor Akbar.

    The city is located on the banks of river Yamuna and is one of the most famous tourist destinations in the country. Many splendid Mughal era buildings, particularly Taj Mahal, attract huge crowd from all over the world.

    Visitors will reach Agra after a drive of four hours. Check into a hotel upon arrival and later proceed for half day city tour including visit to Taj Mahal. It was built by Mughal emperor Shahjahan in 1630 to enshrine the mortal remains of his queen Mumtaz. Also visit Agra Fort.

    Get back to a hotel and stay there overnight. (Taj Mahal remains closed every Friday)

    Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Bharatpur

    Post breakfast in the hotel proceed towards Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Visit UNESCO World Heritage Site – Fatehpur Sikri – en route. This deserted city made from red sandstone was built by great Mughal emperor Akbar. He established it as his capital and palace during late 16th century. The other prominent sites worth visiting are Buland Darwaza, tomb of Salim Chishti, Jama Masjid and Diwan-i-Aam among others. Check into a hotel upon arrival in Bharatpur.

    Spend rest of the time in leisure activities and stay there overnight at the hotel.

    Bharatpur – Delhi (295Kms, 6Hrs drive)

    Visit Bharatpur bird sanctuary and ride a rickshaw to explore most part of the sanctuary during morning. This famous sanctuary hosts thousands of birds of different species that land here during winter season. Over 230 species of birds are known to have made this sanctuary as their permanent home. It is a man-made and man-managed wetland which protects the sanctuary from frequent floods. The sanctuary has become diverse habitat and home to 366 bird species, 379 floral species, 50 species of fish, 13 species of snakes, 5 species of lizards, 7 amphibian species,7 turtle species and a variety of other invertebrates. Every year thousands of migratory waterfowl visit the park for winter breeding. The sanctuary is one of the richest bird areas in the world. It is known for nesting by resident birds and visiting migratory birds as well as water birds. The rare Siberian cranes used to stay here during winter. According to Sir Peter Scott Keoladeo, this sanctuary is the world’s best bird area. Get back to the hotel for breakfast.

    Post breakfast depart for Delhi. Visitors will be dropped at respective residence or airport upon arrival in the city.
